Okay, I have found out that because I am using a wordpress install on this website that I can’t just password protect a folder that easily without writing a bit of code to make that happen. Now, years ago I would have jumped at the chance to write a bit of php code for a web page, but because I am now retired from web design I no longer want to be bothered with that because I have more important things to keep me busy these days.
So, instead of having a folder here at this site to manage members, I have created a folder on my Google Drive. That folder is private except for those people who I will be adding to it. Which means that after you have purchased your subscription I will then add you to the folder so you can download the files.
And because I like to create new stuff all the time, you will need to go back to that folder in order to download any new files that have been added to it. And because this site is new, I haven’t added but only a handful of files to that folder so far. But as soon as I can, I will add a lot more and then you’ll have your hands full trying to download all the files available, lol. But hey, the folder will always be there so you can take your time downloading. Which is a good thing because I know how life can get in the way sometimes when you want to do stuff that you want to do but don’t always have time to do them.
Anyway, just thought I would let you know about the change to the downloads situation. And I think this will be a better way of handling that and it also saves my web hosting storage problem also. As someone who pays for webhosting you are only allowed so much space to hold all your files. And when you are constantly adding product previews, web graphic images, files, etc… that can increase your allowed storage space also.
Thanks for stopping by and hugs, Mod Girl.
